Rich in color from extended skin contact during fermentation, the 2016 Cabernet Franc opens with notes of fresh cut tobacco leaves and cassis berries. The wine is complex and loaded with juicy plum notes and ripe cherries on the mid-palate. It has a long lingering finish with notes of cocoa and a hint of sandalwood.
